This project is a renovation + addition to a 1920s Spanish home in San Diego, California. We are proposing to redesign the home to make it more livable for our clients, a pleasant couple who enjoy entertaining. Our ideas include expanding the primary bedroom suite, installing a brand new kitchen w/ contemporary appliances, + rebuilding an old deck w/ a shade canopy + custom spa. Lastly, we are proposing to convert the existing walk-out basement into an ADU to be used as a guest house. The design is respectful of the historic Spanish style while introducing modern elements where appropriate.
