What I Do Here

My role at Ten Seventy Architecture includes providing quality control of our drawings throughout design, then managing the project through the permitting phase. This creates a streamlined timeline for our projects which our clients appreciate. I also produce the drawings for right-of-way permits as needed on various projects. Basically you’ll be working with me from the initial proposal all the way through permitting.

Who I Am

I grew up in the Caribbean where both of my parents were engineers. I was exposed to the design and construction at a young age which allowed me to witness directly how architecture can impact someone's life. I have always enjoyed history and there is plenty to learn through studying historic architecture which makes me so passionate about this art. My favorite architectural style is minimalism which I describe as “the empty inbox feeling personified in a home.”

What I’m In To

I enjoy practicing yoga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and various other forms of exercising. On the weekends you will find me either walking around my neighborhood of Logan Heights with my husband, trying new food / beer, or watching martial arts. One of my favorite movies is Grease 2 (because of Michelle Pfeiffer). If you catch me watching it you will find me singing along. Monday nights you will find me watching one of my favorite comedy shows live. During the pandemic I’ve begun trying to learn to play the guitar. I have a beautiful Fender Telecaster.
